Street Fighter was from the old Malibu Comics which were terrible because they were cheesy 90s crap and not glorious manga or the UDON comics. So, Nida went fade...

What!? I didn't know she was Filipina. You know what, you couldn't tell by looking at her either, because Namco made her look like an anime character.
On Talim's profile, her birthplace is Southeast Asia/Village of the Wind but didn't specify it was in the Philippines. I looked up Village of the Wind, all of it was tied to Soul Calibur alone, meaning that was made up.
My point is, how did you know she was particularly Filipina? Because looking at her you wouldn't be able to tell that, if it's her Kali Sticks that's not good enough because Sonya Blade on Mortal Kombat has Kali Sticks and she's not even Filipina.
And if Namco said she was, that's the best they can do?
