Description And now the fun starts...

or well it should start.

Despite only having detailed the arm joints, I must confess I am already a little disappointed with the style I decided to experiment with. The whole point was trying to understand what made Pawel's models so spectacular and then trying to implement it. However, at this point it looks nothing like Pawel's work. I'm not entirely surprised though, Pawel takes forever to complete his models.

I shall study his Flea again and see if I can achieve something similar on the missle racks.

I like what you've done, it looks cool. The thing you have to understand about Pawel, is that many of his pieces are actually compositions made of several pieces combined. Where, for example, in that bit that u show here you detailed a few panels, keeping the shape, Pawel actually combined several objects together to achieve a similar shape. The best aspect of this is, for example, his Blood Asp mech, particularly the arms.

Ah, I see. Thanks for your insight. I'll study his works again and try to implement a little of his genius on the next bit

Thanks

Well, honestly it isnt that much to me - but after I do the whole mesh, who knows?

Hopefully the next bit will look better when combined with this.
