What if Asriel grew up? And became an adult? What would he look like? What would his magic abilities be? This is my interpretation, though I know I'm not the first to come up with them I just had to animate it. He has fire abilities like his parents, but is also able to summon a sword like when you fight him, and has random rainbow powers.
Gotta love all those rainbows.What about you guys? Do you have any other "What if" scenarios? maybe leave a comment if you do. I may make an animation based on it if I can come up with an idea for it.
I needed to do something that involved effects in some way, so I sort of chipped away at this every chance I could get. I did many things different than I normally would in animating this, such as animating on 3s rather than 2s just to see how it would look, and I also finally have an example of shading. This was made to look sort of anime-ish, but I'm not sure if I accomplished that.
Yes, I took the door in the background directly from the game, so no I didn't draw it. I was a bit lazy there.

I actually interpret the Canon as following something along your storyline.
1) Grown Asriel Dreemurr floating shortly before the first time credits game, after monster's surface life sequence and "present-day" Ebbot. Cue similar music.
2) Asriel already reassembled his body to resurrect; even without the 6 human SOULs and all those monster SOULs there would be no reason to revert back unless said body had a fatal flaw he couldn't correct and a perfectly functioning Golden Flower just so happened to catch him.

Asriel is still alive in true pacifist, he refuses to go to the surface and goes to the ruins, that's sad part in the happy ending :'<
so I've just thought after seeing your vid, what if Asriel had lived and trained on his own in the ruins when a bad guy appeaed on the surface, he showed up like a "last-minute" ones while Frisk was fighting them, then Asriel can face everyone else and live on the surface
the "show-up" part would be great :3 (and please forgive my bad English ><)

Well asriel had to kinda had to hide from his family knowing he'd become flowey again. If they saw him they would of course try to help and love him again. Flowey doesn't have a soul and wouldn't be able to love them back.

Nah the human souls are lost once they break the barrier
Also I think asriel needs monster souls to keep a goat form due to them monster souls are the only difference between the omega flowey battle and the god of hyperdeath.
Besides toriel and asgore seeing their child/murderer now would be kinda ... problematic I suppose. Asriel killed them in multiple timelines and attempted to kill them like five minutes prior.
