Duma (f) 2 weeks old.Duma was always known as the "sad one". She had this look on her face, so sad you wanted to just hug her
When she got a bit older she looked more afraid, shy
She was coy, but it just made her so adorable =^_^=

An adorable little kitten. Seems like the flash was a bit too bright for her though, which caused the white highlights in her face to be blown. I love her eyes though! Featured.

I'm afraid all my kitten photos are flashed, with only a very few exceptions (those are blurry instead) I was to unexperienced

My house is badly lit, and I didn't bring them out more than twice.
I'm planing on making a photo studio soon thou, hopefully within a short amount of time.
I've been practicing on flash less photos lately, when the sun came in through the windows.
Some turned out ok, but I'll practice some more. In the studio I'll put up lights, white lights, and not directly on them but find something to reflect it back on. We're painting the walls white
To bad I can't make more kitten photos there.... only of my two big ones.....
But as long as I'm creative, I can make the same cats stay interesting

Studio lights are from about 12,000 NOK and up. So quite expensive

I didn't used to watermark. But my cat photos has gotten popular, popular among thieves
I've found several of my photos scattered around online. I have no choice but to watermark it
I wish it didn't have to come to this, but I have to have some protections, a way to let people know who owns it

Mostly they are put up unaltered.... But one of them got badly "mutilated" (edited to look just bad =/ )
This was on DA, and the persons gallery was filled with thefts of cats, mostly just edited with a caption.
Did she get banned? Of course not
They got deleted, and she pretends nothing ever happened
Then she goes about to whine about why no one likes her
And why? To get attention of course. Why do they ever steal art thats not theirs?
Personally I don't understand how they get any pleasure out of it....
I have problems feeling proud of something I've only used a basic reference on....Even more so of coloring jobs from other peoples lines (even if I only get praised for the coloring)
Has to be 100% mine for me to feel that it's my work. Even reference should be my own

I even sometimes go to the degree that if an idea for a photograph has been used, I can't do it.
Even if I thought of it before I saw it been done.
