Very interesting style, almost reminiscent to the style of old 17th century religious illustrations. But rather then devils, there are small knife wielding fellows. Perhaps a nod to inner demons, and thus the battle fought deep within the subconscious?
Whatever your idea was, it is thought provoking nonetheless.

Ah, indeed. What's great about art, is that it can be interpreted a hundred different ways by other people. Although, I'm sure my guess probably isn't that far off the mark.
