I really like this picture, the colors in the texture is really nice, and the contrast in the picture. I allsow like the face position in the picture.

Hm, I like this!
I think there's a bit too much green on the face, although it is great in the eyes.
Otherwise, great job!

I like it sooo much! It's so dark.. but at the same time, not as dark as it could get.. I like the "twist"

I really like the textures on this image, the colours are really cool. The contrast between them and the black background is good.

Here is the constructive critique you wanted:
This piece is a little more interesting than your other piece however once again the pure black is over dominating the picture and is severally flattening out the picture. Also the texture used over the face is a little to strong so that the natural shadows of the photo of the face don't come through. Nice concept on the whole though.

cool picture
good use of texture and colours
but i think the nose lost in the texture
not completly the nose
its the contour of the nose
still nice shoot

I do like the contrast between the bright colors and the gritty, but it's maybe a little too much? Perhaps try building up grit in layers and where you really want it to create volume- you probably don't want just random grit, but grit that's going to give you a sense that it's actually on her face, and where it's touched her. And your face looks a little overexposed (too light) in places, although I know you were going for a dead look. Really, not bad for a first try at this, though.

It's extremely well done, especially the hair. But it sort of looks like you brushed over the texture with a big fuzzy brush to attempt to give the texture the shape of the face instead of relying on the actual shadows in the original picture.
My advice, as a complete noob to photo manipulations, would be to toy more with levels, duplicating layers and changing their blending options.
Remember, you can overlay a duplicate layer of just shadows/whatever on top of the image with whatever blending option you want and lower that layers opacity until you get the effect you like and even erase parts of it that aren't to your liking.
Uhm, well yes def. fav'able because I'm fond of this kind of work. It cans be tiems for me to quit ramblings noews.
