Hi thank you for all the lovely comments..thanks also for checking out my triplets dream vision..oh yes, something strange came through for that one..a bit of disturbing beauty in it. Yes you should try collage, so many possibilities...my work is so many layers of papers, and paints. etc...just like my mind..cluttered with random strangeness..

Hi there,,,wow Rome..how amazing!! yes i have a studio..it is piles of paints and papers...i try to keep in organized but as soon as i start working and the papers fly...it becomes a disaster zone! My favorite place to retreat to though. No you should try collage,,it is very forgiving..the possibilities are endless really...i always painted and sculpted but as soon as I got into ATCs/collage i fell in love and cant seem to stop...Yes, i know what you mean with the fine line between unique and childish..i felt the same way when i first started..but it is hard work and very meticulous..having to cut perfectly to get the vision right..give it a go...i bet you will work miracles..

Yes a space is a must, even though we have live in smaller places..and i make space no matter where we are..am very fortunate to have a room dedicated only to my art now. I love the pen pal idea..i enjoy it too! So you wanted Steinbeck right? No Sweet breath!?

Hello, sorry it took so long to reply! I have been so distracted from art
Good news though, I have an art room now! Very excited about it. Now the only problem is, getting motivated to paint! I find it so easy to be motivated to make jewelry but when it comes to painting or drawing I have the hardest time bringing myself to do it. It strange because painting is my favorite thing to do, it just takes so much energy. I think I am going to have to a lot a certain time every week to do it, whether I feel like it or not.
Well I really like the penpal idea too, message me if you are still interested!

Hi, its ok, i understand..i am crazy busy too!! I have felt a bit distracted as well..hard to focus and get work done. YAY!! Congrats on your new space..I am sure you will find your inspiration and get to painting now! Dont get down on yourself about not having the energy, I do that too,,and painting is my favorite as well. i feel as if I am turning my back on my passion..plus i feel worse when i am not creating..it is horrible cycle..you just need to sit and try to put something on canvas..and see what you can produce..i am with you though..it is hard at times..Of course i am interested in the penpal idea..i am here for you anytime you need to vent or chat...xoxox jet let me know how you are doing with your block and your new space..

wow. really like all of the materials that went into making this. i espeically like how you used the music sheets as "breath" being swirled out of her mouth. music and art are one in the same and both can be found in the most unexpecting of places. this vague statement can really be picked apart to mean variety of different interpretations. i could see having a great discussion of this piece with tea. got to have the tea haha. excellent work

I had dinner with my parents tonight. They are so loving and my Mom watches every night to see what happens here in dA.
I took "Love Bird" for them to see. Even my Dad thought it was great. He noticed the shelves with cat food in the background.
We even went to the computer. He wanted to see what sort of surreal-abstracts I had done. New thing for me.
I proudly took them over to see your gallery. We admired some, and I pointed out Love Bird in your gallery. Sort of like having a movie star living at my house.
Only LOTS prettier.
Anything that makes me happy makes them happy. [I was an only child] I didn't have any children, so I think my "center of the universe" status may remain permanent with them. Haaa

You've seen the kind of "prints" I make -- the cardstock and color. The little childrens eyes one were on a lighter weight than usual.
I have more of those cards, and could also email anything you might want of mine, to print, if ever that would be something you want.
However you want to trade. I feel like you should get 3 of mine in trade for this. If you want to wait a while to see what else I might come up with. Of course, you are assured future trades with me. There is no doubt about that, from my end.
My Dad looked carefully at your art on Love Bird. He said, "that's a lot of work"...
My roommate said it would make a beautiful canister or tin set. Wouldn't it though!?

First off i just have to say that you are the sweetest ever, i love to read your messages. Thanks for showing off my work, i love it. I love this idea of trading, but really i can just send Sweet breath to you, i know you really like it, and that is why i create my art, is to make others feel happy. if you appreciate it, then it makes me feel good to know that you will cherish it and enjoy it!...I would love a copy of one of yours though, are you kidding your work is brilliant, i would love to frame and hang up in my formal diningroom...I will note you and you let me know if you can print me out a copy..if that is okay! I will finish packaging up Sweet breath and send out by the end of this week, so look out for it ok..Oh and the canister idea is awesome, i have thought about cards, stationary, i have been doing some research on how to get stuff published..so we shall see what happens..
So darling, no worries, Sweet breath is all for you, i will just say that i made her especially for you!!!
