I created this image for the cover of Holon chapter 3, which you can see here: [link]It took me a lot of sketches to get this image right, even though it looks so deceptively simple. I usually have a rather pragmatist approach to my comic book art: I'll take one of the first sketches, even if they're flawed to some degree. With comics, time is of the essence, and if I started redrawing everything I'm not happy with, I'd never get anything done
But in this case, Kano compelled me to draw her as she *should* be drawn. Which meant... a whole lot of scrapped sketches.

Size: somewhere between DIN A5 and DIN A6

There would be so many more great comics if artists just stopped doubting themselves, redrawing things over and over. I don't think art is about perfection as much as it's about sharing (visual/semantic) content.
