Base info on them: (no name yet sorry aaa)
They can reside on land and water. They are like octopus and can adapt to camouflage in their surroundings to the point they seemingly become invisible. They are immune to radiation, though mutated forms of them will happen if they consume radiated objects. They can be canid, reptilian, feline, or any part animal based - some have multiple but they are more rare. Some types can secrete toxins based on their spines. Translucent species exist (where it shows their skeletal structure) but they are extremely rare. The more they eat, the more they grow - up to a total of 400lbs! Their size ranges from 5'2'' to 9'5''. Some types are more active at night - though more of them rely on daytime as their second form of food is gathered from the sun, to where they will become fully visible, as they need to concentrate on photosynthesis. Moonlight feed the few who are known as 'night wanders', and those are the times that tend to be extremely dangerous. Plants are sometimes known to grown on the outsides of them, it does them no harm. They aren't known to eat each other, but sometimes if food is scarce... They can secrete poison from their mouths, it gives a paralysis as they tend to eat their prey alive. Some forms of these creatures can glow, some can even have fire...
