Perhaps the best of a great series! The contrast between 'Zula and Ty Lee is striking. Azula done in more angles looks sharper, and obviously more dangerous than Ty Lee, who is appropriately all curves. It's also very gripping the way their expressions compare. Anguish and pain on Ty Lee as she dies, and utter sadistic pleasure from Azula.

Yes, it is fanart for a cartoon...a cartoon that features bloodbending, implied regicide, and the genocide of an entire people...this is kinda par for the course, honestly.
And besides, everyone knows what vampires do. I doubt any kid would be shocked by this pic.

Hey, didja hear? Korra was just renewed for a 3rd-4th season, total of 52 episodes. Nice. Hopefully, whatever they start in Book II won't have to be hastily and sloppily wrapped up by the end of Book II.
But hey, if they do things right, by the end of series we'll look back at the first season as the short little starter arc with the weird masked guy that introduced the characters before the real story got started. I can live with that. Kinda like the first few episodes of ATLA where Aang was way too chirpy and obsessed with... er... penguin sledding.
