I don't like the theme, but i like the composition of the two figures and the use of color. The watercolor textures are a nice touch. The faces of the girls could use a bit more of emotion, they seem a bit bored.
Other then this being my opinion, and my opinion only, i think it's a nice piece all together.

I chose the juxtaposition to highlight the difference in the girls' personalities ^_^ Susanna is fiery and brash, while Isadora is gentle and thoughtful.

But the choice of autumn amber seems to suggest a foundational similarity; like, instead of the traditional heated red and tranquil blue that suggests character dynamics like this, you went with two distinct approaches to the same colour. It's a smart touch that emphasizes their friendship! Was that intentional?

The Harry Potter universe makes me sad that i never went to a school with a cool dress code that included sweaters and collared shirts and whatnot.

I love the sense of movement this piece has, between the spells being cast in opposite directions and how the girl on the right's hair flows - very nice! I also love the idea of turning leaves into butterflies!! She seems to be doing it so calmly too - great contrast with the determinedly cast fire spell.

I really like their expressions; Isadora looks lost in thought, while Susanna looks dead-set on achieving a goal. They're like yin and yang. (if I'm using that correctly) As said below, the textures look wonderful! They resemble watercolors, if you ask me.
