Description Aludran soldiers and militia during the Battle of Halleck . The one second from the right was Socialising.

Incidentally, the Aludran Future Soldier gear conceals all of the soldier's rank insignia because the previous generation of Chiran sniper rifle scopes featured image recognition that tagged targets with their rank.

Great work so far.

Only note is the FN GPMG, I've operated that MG, and you really don't want the sling on when operating it unless your just carrying/traveling with it or going to be hip firing with it. For it's awkward size and kicking it has, you need to lay down, rest it on ledge, hip fire, crouch fire, or hold it from the bi-pod like so: kariuomene.kam.lt/kariuomene/i…
This MG is used on vehicles like the US does with the Browning .50cal MG.
For most slings are just fixed slings, meant for carrying. Can probably get away with an LMG, since smaller and lighter caliber (5.56mm) then the FN GPMG (7.62mm).

Elsewise, great job so far, hope to see the finished version Just giving my weapon handling experience advise.

Yeah, she is just carrying it here, I'm aware you have to be pretty enormous to fire a GPMG from the shoulder

(Apart from the PKM, people say that's easier than most IIRC)

Couldn't give her an intermediate LMG because Aludra has never adopted an intermediate round, they're still on their old 8.1x55mm for their main infantry rifles.

PKM, probably, since actually has a box mag attachment built into the gun so can be used on the move like the RPK (while the FN GPMG you need to mount a carrying bracket, or your running with the ammo can in your other hand). Most of Soviet weapons were designed for easy use that farmers can easily handle (encase of another WWII scale).

Ah ok. Sorry must have missed that part in your universes lore about the Aludra LMG lines. But there are the LMG's of WW2 that fired 7.62mm, like the BAR and Bren, besides the Soviets LMGs and German MG34 for calibers above 7mm.

Yeah, and in fact it's mandatory to invent the BAR as a precursor to inventing the MAG, since the MAG is derived from an upside-down BAR mechanism and all. But I figure by this point any Reformation War-era LMGs in militia armouries would be regarded as dangerously old gear and would have allΒ  have either been sold off, melted down or sent to museums.

When I first sketched this out the one in the suit had the machine gun, but I thought it was more fun to swap their weapons.
