I updated the format of the dragon characters' refs just a bit and included a section for facial nuances... you can see here I adjusted Parch's too: fav.me/daqiu3k (Something was bugging me about the old style... I think it was the stuff all clumped into boxes, inhibiting the free use of space.) I'll come back with Scald later. ^u^(I am working on page 5 of the prologue I swear.
It's just... really detailed. o_o You'll see what I mean when I share it. xD)Edit: Also, I know is says '2016' in the watermark.
I originally made this ref (minus changes to the formatting) last year... I was too lazy to make a new watermark so...

Yesss, that might be of some significance. Maybe elements can come later in life and with magic kinda coming back some that wouldn't normally have them get them or that, with this little magic around, elements can come even during adulthood because it takes so long to kinda "form" (Bad wording, I know).
Or perhaps it's just a different mechanic in this universe, most of the time dragons tend to gain theirs around the same age-from what I've seen mostly older children or preteens to teens,depending on the series(speaking in terms of human development)-or have some access to it all the time and control being the main thing that they have to learn but if it was either a bit more spread out with some getting it very early and others being well into their adult live or making the powers capable of surfacing at any time (Nightwatch-style) not knowing your element at their age may have been a possibility even in ancient times.
Scald would be the primary candidate with him longing for an element and probably gaining one at the worst possible time and learning that it's not as "cool" as he'd hoped it would be.

I don't know why, but I have a feeling that he is going to die somehow in the comic.Β Not to be a downer, I mean, it is just that I get this feelings...Β Anyway, I think that he looks great and I like the less-boxy-esque shape to their heads that you have come up with!

Funny you should comment upon less boxiness, when Scorch is easily the boxiest of the three brothers.
