Just a bunch of Miles-related bullshit lately

He's a bit advanced for the general pokemon setting so I guess I should explain
Most of his stuff has to do with understanding human technology rather than making it
The monitor, headphones and microphone were all stolen from humans (he'd owned the monitor for a while, it's his prized possession)
The wire, which is in a spool next to his tail, is from a deal he has with some powerplant-dwelling pokemon... He pays them for the wires n other small supplies he needs for his work

Miles is way overworked, since he's the only one who can actually make the little pieces for Soraya to wear when she's out exploring, and tjey almost always get damaged in battle or overheat from being in such close proximity to her when she's under stress.. She needs to wear them so that he can speak to her while they're in Dungeons.
Just wanna say he didn't invent most of this, he just salvaged human shit and works with it... He does build things, but mostly he dissects things to understand them, it's a hobby lmao
He has other hobbies too, but I haven't actually decided what they are yet??? IM DUMB?? I want him to have little trinkets and stuff around his desk to cheer him up when he's working in the middle of the night but i'm not sure what he'd have around his desk

Maybe like. Little seashells or something. Who knows idk. Maybe he likes flowers.

Anyway he always writes little notes to himself and sticks them everywhere with pins and stuff, so he doesn't forget
Also he has like. One big box of random parts but everything else is super organized, he's kind of a neat freak about his workspace, since he actually has a lot of setbacks when he can't find that one thing he needs and spends literal hours looking for it

He also has nothing on the ground and has a cover over his workspace cause if there's a leak or a flood, the whole thing is damaged, and they are not easy to acquire... the Team lives underground too, so if there's a heavy rainstorm and there's a leak, then welp. There goes everything.
Anyway the monitor has like a circuit board and a computing mechanism or whatever a monitor needs to function (I am not a computer person, I have no idea), and he tried noodling with it once and it stopped working so he spent months trying to get a new one, now he keeps it in that drawer under his desk with wires coming out of it and holes poked in it for ventilation, and he does. not. touch. it.
It's the one human thing he doesn't fully understand cause he doesn't play around with it.

He doesn't have a full on computer ok. It's just a bunch of random crap that somehow works, I didn't think to hard about it lmao
if you're a computer person, please don't poke holes, i'll deal with my minimal knowlege of this topic eventually so shush
