Been dying to give Shiloh a redesign since january lol- finally got around to it and came up with something i like, got some help from my friens with it too!

Basically Kytogrua (or Kyto) are a kind of woodland spirit, they're magical in nature and communicate nonverbally with one another through their sensors (which they have on their pawpads and crests). They exchange energy and emotions, basically getting their point across through feelings rather than words. They're very good at soothing people and getting their point across effectively. Their sensors manipulate energy, but the energy they manipulate can be negative or positive or somewhere in between, and tends to be influenced by emotion.

Shiloh's sensors are a bit messed up, since they were separated from their kind at a young age, they never really learned how to properly use their sensors. All they know is "crests get energy and pawpads give energy" and that's about it. They can't always turn their sensors off and on, so when they were young they tended to pick up a lot of energy they didn't want to feel. So they kind of learned to turn off their crest (receptive) sensors to avoid feeling bad things, and even to this day they forgot how to use them properly, and when they finally turn them on again, they get flooded with emotion they can't control.
They're a bit wild with the use of their pawpad (transferring) sensors, so they tend to give other people their emotions rather than dealing with them themself.

Their sensors don't manipulate emotions per se, but energy, which can be positive or negative or somewhere in between. Shiloh has difficulty separating their emotions from the energy around them because they don't know how to use their sensors properly, which can lead to them holding onto a lot of negative energy, which can damage them physically. They can also radiate a lot of positive energy, though, which has mild healing effects. The ability to manipulate energy like this lets them help plants grow (or make them wilt) depending on what kind of energy they're radiating (which is usually equal to the kind of emotion they're feeling). Because ther energy manipulation is based off of their emotion, it's sporadic and unpredictible and can have lots of side effects.

They also don't have a lot of vitality, and are pretty sleepy, because Kyto need other Kyto around to exchange energy with. Without another Kyto, they're missing a chunk of the energy that they rely on. It's like missing a part of their diet in many ways. It won't kill them, but they do have difficulty staying awake and focused sometimes because of it. It might also lead them to drain energy from plants and other things, but that's mostly a vent idea, so I won't go there.
