I sure hope I can! I more or less know what I'm going to be doing for the butterfly wings, but I'm still in the progress of figuring out what to do for the base~

Hmm... Yeah, I can see the base as being hard... Maybe use a pair of old/cheap headphones and decorate them accordingly?

Here's to hoping they do! I've got a really artsy friend helping me with the art-based stuff, and a techy friend of mine is actually looking into seeing if we can get the rim to glow like theirs. xD

IT IS SO FUN TO WEAR O.M.G.

I mean it's a bitch to wear sometimes because if I do a lot of flamboyant moving/twirling (which I do because it's fun) it can get really knotted. But it's still a dream to wear, haha. xD

Also, if you're ever needing to buy something online and Don't want to put your credit card online/can't find someone who wants to I highly suggest getting a prepaid visa or MasterCard. It's a lot safer, haha

My mum hates cosplay and everything to do with it. Manga, anime, videogames. She legitimately thinks I'm wasting all of my money on crap, even if I don't think of it as a waste of money.

Really? Wow... My mom reads almost any manga I reccommend to her (A nice chunk of manga is in her room right now. More than 50 of them, I think), and she enjoys most anime with me (we used to watch Case Closed/Detective Conan all the time together), and she's willing to play Tetris with me. Tetris was the first video game I ever played, and it's pretty much the only one she plays other than Facebook games (though, rarely, she WILL play Wii golf games with me). She has a bad thumb that doesn't work well so she doesn't play often. She doesn't cosplay, but helps me with mine.
My dad wants NOTHING to do with it. XD

So I've got one savvy anime/manga/cosplay/video games parent.
