Description
the floorboards took our
dancing and flourished it with
scrapes over exposed bones,
placing clever fractures where
eyes cannot observe their growth
and now we've sprinted away,
to where, we don't know.

oh, that curve in your spine,
the winter, to you, was unkind and
after i sat by you throughout the cold,
how could i have known-

after a summers disregard that
you only needed me for so long
after you spilled your bones.
