Description I've been modeling some unique pieces from various designers for a long time, maybe this submission will be the first piece of my new furniture series. I hope I'll have time to complete this project.

Anyway, I've used 3dsmax for modeling and Vray as render engine and also some minor color corrections were done using by Photoshop.

Impressive! But it original legs, I mean the the feet, are a bit different than yours.

You'r right about the legs. I was trying to be precise but reflections of studio lighting and falloff values of reflective shaders may deceive my eyes.

Anyway, thanks for your advices, I'll be more careful about these issues on coming projects.

I pushed my imagination to its boundaries but I couldn't find any -even tiny- connection between in-fuking-fidel modelling and falloff values or studio lighting. So?

Whadda ya expect?
I'm just trying to evade my "hit-or-miss" style modeling process with acceptable excuses. Are you a friend or a foe? So?

Thanks a lot

I wanted to create color variations rather than a basic studio lighting.

The chair looks very uncomfortable, and not very durable (one point is holding it all together).

But that's not the point. Awesome render, amazing lighting and great materials. Very good.

Thanks for your thoughts about rendering issues.

Maybe it's uncomfortable but it's durable I think.
Anyway, thats not the point as you mentioned before. I really don't care It's durable or not, I just like the form, lines and mass.

Thanks for your interest

i love the combination of moods in this piece warm to cold - are the hues part of the render or post-processing?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

accodeum In reply to motive8 [2007-02-23 09:40:10 +0000 UTC]

Colors and main lighting mood comes from raw render. There is only key and fill light, they have contrast colors as you see. I only did a couple of minor edits on reflections and desaturated the image a little.

Thanks for the comment, glad you like it.

bu işten anlamadığımı şu soruyla dile getirmek istiyorum:
kırılmaz mı o sandalyeler?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

accodeum In reply to macellan [2007-02-22 22:18:54 +0000 UTC]

Herkes aynı soruyu soruyor.

Kırılacağını sanmıyorum çünkü cihaz $379.00 (US only)
Ayrıca "Design Charles & Ray Eames®, 1946. Made by Herman Miller®. ibaresinin meali "kırılmaz, yanmaz, verdiğini her kuruşa değer, beğenmezsen iade et, vesaire" olsa gerek.

detaylı bilgi ve merakını yenmek istersen bu [link] ten faydalanabilirsin.

Hergün gezerim o siteyi, The Sims oynar gibi...
