Oh so do I if I'm ever going to show/post something anywhere I always make sure I have permission but this was purely for practice and was never meant to be anything but on my computer (which means I did some experimenting with it to some extent). I'm asking Ace if he's happy for me to post it before I put it up.

well... that is a personal thing for me i know that there are alot of people out there that will just give the original artist credit in the way of just putting their names on the posting journal... me on the other hand really like to talk to the actual artist and see if it is cool. most of the time it is cause alot of them really like to see their work coloured but be warned alot of times it takes a while for them to get back other times it if fast
