-|Energetic|- Beetlepaw is rarely seen just sitting around and is very eager to do things, quickly offering a helping hand if they see anyone needing it.
-|Clever/witty|- Beetlepaw has a sharp wit and tounge, and they have many snarky remarks and bad puns to throw at their fellow clanmates and other cats. They'll always try to lift the mood if anything bad has happened, sometimes at inappropriate times, but they don't like tense situations.
-|Skeptical|- Most likely due to being abandoned as a newborn, Beetlepaw isn't very trusting of new cats, especially if they make a sketchy first impression. This makes them able to steer away from cats that'd cause them trouble, but also leads to them sometimes shutting out cats that could be good friends or be of help.
-|Carefree|- Beetlepaw dislikes being serious and while they do work hard, they do prefer to do their own thing most of the time. They like to think this makes them a fun cat to hang out with, but it can also get them in trouble.
-|Rash|- Being clever doesn't mean Beetlepaw is always smart and for the most part they act before they think, taking on challenges to show off their skills (usually ending in them with their face in the ground). They're quick to jump to conclusions which often sparks problems and makes them hard to work with.
-|(Secretly) Insecure|- When one looks at Beetlepaw they can seem like an overconfident cat who has few cares in the world, but behind that carefree attitude they're very insecure. They don't have much confidence in their abilities, which is why they constantly feel the need to show off and prove they're good at something. Their self-confidence is at it's lowest when they're alone, they feel more secure whith their siblings and believes they're nothing without them.
[Story]
-|Kit-Hood|- Beetlekit and their siblings were found at the tundraclan border by Mistletoe and Lynxfrost, and were taken in as the abandoned kits of a loner. They never really thought much about who their actual parents were, they had their siblings and that was all they needed.
-|Apprentice-hood|- As an apprentice, Beetlepaw worked hard to be the best, even though they messed up fairly often. Not long into their apprenticeship, their siblings Curlewpaw and Racoonpaw got into a fight, and not long after, Racoonpaw died. Beetlepaw was shattered. They knew Curlewpaw blamed himself for it so they tried their best to be there for him, but it didn't seem to work. Curlewpaw left tundraclan, which left Beetlepaw even more devastated. Salmonpaw also became distant at the loss of her siblings, and soon the two weren't talking much. Beetlepaw had no idea what to do, their worst fear was coming true and it terrified them. They still kept up their carefree persona, not wanting anyone to see them as as weak as they feelt.
-|Warrior hood|- When Beetlestep became a warrior things started changing once more. In the dream where they recieved their warrior name, they were visited by their late sister, Racoonpaw, and Sprucefrost of all cats. They told them about their parents. For the first time in their life, Beetlestep had a lead on the two cats they'd never known. One of the leads were that they were from two different clans and that they were named after one of them. Beetlestep isn't sure how they feel about this knowledge, finally knowing something about where them and their siblings came from is comforting, but there's also a bitterness to it.
On patrols, Beetlestep would often stop by the fieldclan border, in hopes of maybe seeing their brother again. One evening - it happened. The two reunited and talked for a long time, and Beetlestep felt at ease, they'd gotten Curlewpaw - now Curlewfeather - back, at least for a little while. Of course Beetlestep told Curlew about their dream and now they're both trying to figure out who their parents could be.

Their clans leader! Beetlepaw is a bit intimidated by Lynxfrost, but holds huge respect for her and thinks she's a good leader.

Mistletoe is a silly old cat and Beetlestep really enjoys his puns. He feels a bit like family.

Beetlepaw misses Racoonpaw a lot. They were devastated when they found out what happened and feels bad that they were unable to do anything to help her and Curlewpaw when they got into that fight...
|Curlewfeather|Alive|Brother|
After Curlewfeather left, Beetlepaw wasn't sure how to feel about him. They still love their brother, but they're also somewhat bitter about him leaving. - After reuniting again, they were able to put what had happened behind them (for the most part). Some bitterness lingers, but most of all they're just happy to be talking with him again.

Geckofrost is an interesting cat who Beetlestep has learnt not to judge by his size. He seems like a respectable leader, but Beetle won't forget the time Racoonpaw came home bloodied after he'd attacked her.
