15 minute poseThis was my favorite pose of the night, and I got a very good compliment from the instructor. But to be fair, I did cheat and hold the pencil like I like to, but flipped it back into the awkward way whenever het got close.
The shoulder isn't as dark in real life as the camera shows, but for the most part it's an accurate picture. (Oh, and that's hair behind her head... I just started to draw it a bit then we stopped).

I think it may need a filter... possibly but otherwise I think you did great! She really seems to have some feeling in your work without even having a face! She seems kind of depressed.

Yeah it was a sad looking pose, and she almost fell asleep I think.

Yeah, but she was very very kind about it all. The only poses she had trouble with were long standing ones. I guess due to her age she had issues with her joints.
I wish I had more time on it though, she got a certain look on her face of sadness and fatigue that would have been beautiful to paint.

I have quite a few characters and a world and time line pretty much made up. the problem is that it's almost all in my mind... gotta put it on paper.
And yeah, you make a LOT. I was amazed in drawing class when you went on about each character and all of their little details. It was pretty easy for me to "see" in my head with all the details you had. You really should create some kinda manga for it!

I'm ok. Listening to music and playing a game online with a couple of friends.
I got called in for work to watch the store tomorrow, but I don't have to be until 11, so I can stay up and sleep in quite a bit.

hah that's cool. I had only one song on my myspace page ("Change" by Deftones),and it was only up for about 5 days before I took it down. I'm hardly ever on there besides to check my inbox to see if anything is new with friends I haven't talked to in a couple of years.

haha same. though sometimes I do post things to let them know how I'm doing and what not. I've also got embarrassing pics of when I was a little one and in cat ears on there xD My mom actually caught me sleeping on the couch with cat ears and rainbow mittens and snapped a photo. I nearly died trying to figure out how she got it. xD

I think I just have some pictures of my messy work area, pictures of when it snowed like crazy in dec, and maybe my Mr. Peanut tattoo (though I might have taken that one down).

Yeah, I don't show it off or anything. Besides my mom, I think the only people that have seen it in real life are two of my old friends.
My mom took a closeup picture of it the day I got it (It's a super closeup so you can't see anything but the tat, most people guess it's on my back or something when they see the pic).
The only thing I like about it is that when someone says my Pacman tattoo is strange I say "You think that's strange? You should see my..." Well, you can guess what I say next. But I never really show anyone. haha

I think I told you: I'm impulsive. When I turned 20 I was talking with some friends and I just blurted out "I think I'd like to get Mr. Peanut tattoo'd on my left buttcheek". Then a few months later I was bored and had about $100 spending money that I wanted to blow on something, so I got the tattoo.
The story of actually getting it really is best saved to tell in person though, I still laugh telling it. But I can honestly say it was the most awkward two hours of my entire life (the artist was a woman, so that made it kinda awkward as well).
