Description Made this tutorial mostly for my own practice, as i'm having difficulties with getting into details and all, so I tried to make a little something

Step 1. I created a shape with mid tone grey
Step 2. Locked the layer and with a dark color soft brush darkened the bottom edges and with a default brush and lighter shade of grey made plains that face up
Step 3. Used a dark greenish color to create cracks into the rock and by colorpicking from the painting made edges to rocks side plains.
Step 4. Used a PS default brush and darker brown to go over the plains facing up and gave some texture, then on 2 other layers marked highlights of 2 lightsources (yellow - sunlight and blue - sky) and lowered Opacity to around 20-30%. In the end went over darker parts with soft brush, "Overlay" mode and low opacity to give some brown tone to it.

I know it's not the best tutorial, especially because the steps are not equal, the last one had a lot more in it than previous ones, also I only have pictures. But it's my first time, so I still hope that someone at least will find this useful ^^
Time: around 30 min

*Note that I did say I used default brushes, but the main brush I used was a square brush that I made, you can make it yourself aswell, it's really easy
here's MarkBrunet's tutorial on how to make one: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkV3Tf…
