I use 24HD mostly. Only use Surface Pro (Cintiq Companion 2 upcoming) for travels, works, or anything mobile.

The 12wx is old and probably either sell or keep for my collection.

RJ here and I'm here to report to you the Cintiq Companion 2 coming for pre-orders. First of all, I don't work for Wacom just so you know and any of this information can found in any tech genie forums.
The pre-order this February will be the cheapest version which is the Value, Standard, and Premium. The Enhanced and Enterprise is coming out available for pre-order starting spring 2015.

Since it's pre-order, if you want to get a hand of this one first, you need to be ready when it's available. Pre-orders run out of stock soon but more will come in the middle of 2015.
I didn't get the 1st Gen Model of Cintiq Companion because of the ability to act as a Cintiq is only available in hybrid, now available in this model.

The Enhanced version which is the 512 is coming out somewhere in Spring and will be whooping $2.5k+ That's the CC2 I'm going to get since it has the newest broadwell with highest intel 6k video card and 16gb of ram.

The 256 that it $1.9k is out of stock xD

Well the only thing that keeps me from getting the SP3 is the new n-trig. I've been a wacom user for almost 10yrs now... (Wow, I just counted just right now I didn't know it either xD)
My SP2 is still rocking as we speak. Still puzzled though if I should make an upgrade to Windows 10. I've keep hearing bad rumors about this new OS that you know same with Win8

If you can afford any, why not take the cheapest one but since you're aiming for Cintiq on the go. There's that newest Cintiq model that you can actual take with you. The cheapest one I believe is low specs but still valued for drawing.

For hobbyist with simple budget and still want digital, I'm aiming to suggest Intuos Pro as it is affordable by wallet and no regret. If you aim for high standard art, animations, and other studio art, then Cintiq is right for you since it's pricey, it's worth every single penny of it's usage.

Don't get discourage and since you ask for Cintiq, I recommend the cheapest and mobile, which the value version of Cintiq Companion 2. While the really cheap one is Cintiq 13HD.

I think I will go for the Cintiq Companion 2. It looks really good and I can bring it with me.

I have one more question. The programs on the Cintiq are photoshop and some other programs I think. But can you install other drawing programs on the Cintiq? like Clip studio paint (I use this and I really like the program). I read everything on the site but I can't find any information on this.

 Before all I just want to remind you that buying this expensive tablet doesn't make you a pro. This is a response to your older comment of being not a super pro artist but wanted to become one. This is a tool for digital art and in a long mile to improve art. What you do on paper is what you see on the tablet but of course it would be fitting to practice on however I just want to help you out but if you got the budget for it, go ahead. It's a very powerful tool for all artist world wide.

Well I haven't own a Cintiq Companion yet but I do have Surface Pro with win8.1 so I believe all softwares that are windows applicable is supported. That includes Clip Studio unless it only available for mac then it won't work on this new cintiq.

All windows platform softwares are supported since CC2 is Windows 8.1 if you read.

Yea I understand that it won't make me a pro xD Hard work will make me a pro.
I already have a pen and touch tablet so I'm familiar with digital drawings and I
want an upgrade and I thought that a Cintiq would be perfect for that.
Only there are so many different models.....
I will think about it if I want one. Thanks again for all the information!
