<<< Ummm Contest Thingy Ma buffer!This is my OC Lushanna with her Familiar:: Lunetales the catbringer and Shugarr the Volcano Dragon. She's is the protector of the ultimate summoning scroll found inside the temple in the Forest of Hanamiji. The scroll is to believe to summon the Evil of all Evil Creatures and said to have an ability to cast void.

I can say that this is a very happy, sunny, sweet piece of art, and all the colours go together very well. I love the way you have drawn the character and is very well coloured.
But her arms seem to be quite small and it would look better if they were drawn longer.
But the character apart from the arms is very well shaded and she looks very pretty.
Now I will get onto the background.
I love they way you have drawn the trees they are beutifully shaded and don't take up to much space.
The only thing i would complain about as of the background is the house.
It is very well drawn but i feel that colouring wise there should be a bit more detail/shading. And you cannot see through the smoke.

I like the amount of detail and shading that went into this piece.
I've got to say something though, something about this piece, feels a bit stiff...
Maybe try involving different colors for differnt parts of the house or add folds in the curtains.
I feel the trees would be smoother if you "dotted" them at a really zoomed in view and the zoom out
Maybe use a gradient as the sky, to make it look more "realistic"
The haracter looks nice, but maybe try making her hair less stiff by making it flow more and the head is a tad too big for her body
Well. That's my critique, but then again, what do I know about art?

This is a really really beautiful piece. I like how the background is just a little bit blurry, and adds to the depth of the picture. By doing so, you have given the focus to the character and the building, making the image feel more like a photograph. The light breaking through the tree on the right is a nice touch as well, and I really like how much light there is in the picture. It definitely feels like spring/summer. I can almost smell apple pie being backed in an old fashioned wood burning stove. Like this young lady has paid a trip to her grandma's. The only things I have to say are off, the arm length, and the perspective of the wood seat of the swing. Both are quite subtle, and hard to really notice, unless you really are trying to look for something wrong. the fact that this only took less than 10 hours is amazing. There is a lot of detail her, and I think maybe, if you spent another 2 on it, it would have been absolutely perfect, you could have gotten all of the little details right, maybe added some lines in the drapes in the windows to give the effect of bunching, perhaps a tiny bit of glare on the window? Great piece none the less.

I'm sorry, did I offend you with the critique that I gave? I would like to make it known that I really do like the picture, and I added it to my collection of favorites, where it will be featured randomly on my main page for all my watchers to see. I do not do this with just any work. I select what I feel show a person's best in something that is in the image. And this particular image had a lot of really good things going for it! I gave it high marks, and there was a lot of things I loved about it. I am sorry if you feel that I was unfair in the few little things that I pointed out.

I like the background and the tree, the house does look a bit "flat" and does not perfectly match the character i believe it stands out but its not bad and personally i fail at drawing any background so i dont have the right to judge XD
Well i definitely see a big improvement in your works and i rly like the colouring especially on the dress and eyes, those eyes are just so cute
I like how your drawings are right on the line between a pro and a beginner...and please do not misunderstand this as an negative thing! I know you are a lot better then me so it may sound odd from me to say " looks like a beginner" and you really are very talented, however your drawings do look pro, but something makes them look like a beginner and this makes them really interesting and you as an artist very fascinating.
I want to see you become even better and better and once getting super famous on dA because there is a lot of potential =3
