He lives within the ethereal dream plane, which morphs and twists itself into the dream world scenarios of others, and often ends up showing people the way out of their nightmares. Because of his frightening appearance, it is not always so easy for him to "guide" them and he instead must scare them towards the exit, while also trying to evade the nightmare himself.

He does not like scaring people. He feels he is forsaken.
