xD Awwwww, aren't sharks so cute????
I personally don't like them.
mainly because they can kill seals and everyone is all "AWWW, LOOKIT THAT SHARKY WARKY, SOO CUTE~!!!!"
And then when Orcas do it they get called Killer Whales (even though they have never killed ANYONE in the wild) And everyone decides to hate them.
I EFFING HATE SHARKS. Orcas are better

Personally I don't like either animal, but it's not because of what they do in nature or what they hunt. It's because I don't necessarily find them at an advantage for most things I would want one at.
Actually orcas have killed people in the wild, but it's extremely rare so most cases of death by orca are forgotten after a while.
Both orcas an sharks can kill seals, and I think orcas hunt mainly seals while sharks prey depends mainly on the species. Certain sharks specialize in capturing mammalian prey while others are more exclusive to aquatic prey, and the largest shark in the ocean- the whale shark- eats plankton.

o.o I have never heard of an orca killing someone (outside of incidents when they are in captivity.) I have heard of humpbacks capsizing boats when they come up to breach, but that is about it as far a whales go. (Though I think Orcas are classified as being more closely related to dolphins then other kinds of whales.)
Orcas do mainly hunt seals, and they sometimes will eat the offspring of humpbacks, due to the fact that humpback migration routes tend to pass through a pods territory, and they would be easy prey. It is the same as if a pack of dogs would go after a cat or something, because it is an easy meal.
What mainly bothers me, is that when certain animals do something that other animals do as well, people get all up in arms about it.
Like how a male lion will kill the cubs off once it takes over a pride, so that their young will survive. A pack of wolves could do the same thing, and suddenly it would be insanely wrong. They are the kind of people that I want to strangle when they are all:
"OH NOEZ, THAT ANIMAL JUST ATE ANOTHER ANIMAL!!! I hate carnivorous animals now. Imma go eat a delicious burger, MADE OF COW MEAT."
Sharks are okay, it's just that I can't stand when people decide to dislike an animal based on their diet, behavior, ect.
I know people who hate wolves because they eat deer. And then next month they will be talking about how their dad went hunting and brought home a buck and how they had the best venison ever.

That comment made your side of the argument much more clear.
I thought you were just dissing sharks, but I get it now.
I agree completely, but everyone is a bit of a hypocrit so what are you gonna do?

Yeah, I mostly just keep my thoughts to myself, which suprisingly enough tends to end up making people mad at me, when you would think it would help me to stay out of trouble...

Yeah
an nunununonononono. xD I didn't think you were mad. I was just talking about how I will keep thoughts to myself, and then when people ask me about something and I say that I don't have an opinion they will get upset. which i dun understand cause then it just means I won't argue with you about it.
