Description
Two different portrayals of Earth at two different points in time in my Alternate universe. One, Pre-Colonization and pre-Rebellion, and another in the Present day, Right around the time Steven was born.

The Rebellion destroyed these landmassesa, Most of the Damage coming from a great and mighty cataclysm spurred forth by the Corrupting light, timed with the arrival of an oncoming Coronal Mass Ejection from the Sun. This "Great Cataclysm" saw the subsidence of the continents of Atlantis, Hyperborea, Mu, Lemuria and other landmasses into the Oceans. Some merged and destroyed when the African Continental Fragment merged with South america thanks to Earth crustal displacement. In the Aftermath, the passage of time in a 4,500 year span , erased and buried remnants of this lost world through natural or manmade means. Some places lie at the bottom of the ocean in subterranean air pockets, others ie underground in caves, buried under immense deserts, sealed away in ice, or consumed by the vast Jungles. Unlike the Gem ruins, these places are better known and have entered legendary status. With people throughout history setting off to find these mythical remnants only to give up when they almost discovered their goals.

The only person to document one of these mythical pre-colonization sites was a man by the Name of Buddy B. Budwick. Who claimed to have discovered the lost Capitol city of the Atlantean Civilization. after stumbling into an underwater cave in the Azores. However the "Gem Women" politely discouraged him from exploring further.
