Description

First, an episode about the sinking of the Titanic. Now one about raising her.

and yes, This is what I think the Titanic Wreck looks like in the Sly world . Heavily based on Romanticized visions of the wreck before the 1985 discovery.

Much like the real world wreck, She's a Unesco World Heritage site, and this episode involves an illegal salvage operation aimed at raising and her from the seabed and strip her of anything valuable. From the ship's fittings, to the valuables of first and second class passengers that still remain in the depths of her hulk. Grave-robbing to the highest degree.

If time machine could be builtin the sly universe, then raising a Century-old, 46,000 ton and 882 foot long ship from the bottom of the sea is feasible in comparison to the more outlandish and zany schemes seen in the series.

This is also based on an actual debate on the controversial recovery of artifacts from the wreck site. One side argues that it's for archeological purposes. The other side (and Carmelita's) argument is that it's grave robbing.

In this case they are raising what is essentially a giant steel tomb of 1500 souls, just so they can strip her of anything valuable, from her fittings to the valuables of first and second class passengers still inside the cabins and still inside the purser safes. That and anything valuable inside the ship's holds.

apparently, a whistleblower in the operation informed sly and his gang through an anonymous tip on thiefnet as well as getting the word out to Interpol of an illegal salvage operation on a protected world heritage site.

Would it be okay if I send them via note? Again, I would pay as a commission if you'd prefer, but I'm off work right now due to Coronavirus.

Oh well if it can't be like that, I'll just give them here. Now do you want to hear what I think the title card would be like or just the chapter names?

okay. So in order:

Steal like an Egyptian (Ancient Egypt, Slytunkhamen I): The three pyramids of Giza with the sun setting

Bravehearted Thieves (Celtic Scotland, Slaigh MacCooper): A Celtic castle with a few oil pumps around

Foggy Ol London (Victorian London, Thaddeus Winslow Cooper III): London skyline at night with a thick fog under it

Sky's the Limit (WWI German, Otto van Cooper): A biplane over a WWI battlefield

Treasures of the Depth (Pirate Caribbean, Henriette Cooper): A pirate ship on a grid ocean (like a map) with a large red x

It's About Time (Future Paris, Sly's son) A moon with a clock face over a cyberpunk Paris

How about Thaddeus being encountered at the Borley Rectory instead.

Sadly I had to many ideas based around London for that.

AceNos In reply to TheDnDking [2020-04-08 02:51:20 +0000 UTC]

I think a Map based around the area where the Borley Rectory used to stand would be a nice "Supernatural/magic" episode.as it had the reputtion for being the most haunted house in england.

Another Idea for an Egyptian episode would be setting it in the city of Alexandria. The area would incorporate the library of alexandria and the Lighthouse of alexandria.

I'm still keeping the Titanic episode for otto.

Henriette's episode should be sit in Libertalia. A pirate colony that was supposedly established on the island of Madagascar.

The Slaigh Macooper episode would be set in the city of Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland.

Well we both have our own ideas for how the other ancestors would have their levels.

BTW, Libertalia was supposedly a legendary pirate colony allegedly founded by the Pirate captain, James Mission. If one were to describe the place, it's an anarchist colony that puts blood bath bay to shame.
