Forward faces (smiling ones especially) are difficult to translate without overdoing it even if the proportions are correct (which I think yours are), so I think your subtlety in the lines used was a good decision. She's beautiful nonetheless and I think if you threw colors on it anyone that knows of her would be able to tell.

So right, usually use forward refs with harsher lighting now that I think about it.
