Description
An entry for First Annual White Lark Classic , where Tut is riding Nate . Asfdsdsa this is so messed up picture, I don't know what was I thinkin' when I decided to draw linearts with pencil. >_____>"
Even if Tut wasn't very chatty guy, his totally icy glare told even more than fifty thousand words. Benji squirmed bothered.
— "I didn't do it on purpose, I swear! I just... I just forgot!"
Tut didn't say a word, just stayed there for a second with his cold stare before he turned around and walked to his mount. He weren't very pleased when he found out that Benji didn't pack martingale by. This was going to be Tut's first competition with Nate, and while he was training for this day, he noticed necessary martingale was with sucha brisk horse.
-"Get your ass up to the saddle, your turn is soon, too soon!"
Irwin yelled and almost threw skinny Tut on Nate's saddle. The stallion was excited and Tut had some problems to get him into collecting ring. Nate felt like he could explode on any minute: every horse regardless it's gender made him whine and prance with his gorgeus tail flaggin'. Cold sweat was dripping along Tut's forehead. How on earth was he supposed to jump clear when he had problems even on flat?
— "Next Toby Keen with The End of Ekhnaton, Alice Forest with The Yamm prepareing."
Tut felt like his heart could stop beating any minute when he was proclaimed to carry out the course. He didn't get nervous easily, but now when he was already excited about his first competition with Nate, angry for Benji because of forgotten martingale and worried about how Nate wasn't in his hands... Well, it could have been some better time to start a career as a professonial rider!
Tut saluted to the judge and herd the bell ring. He yielded with his hands a bit and boom, Nate charced to gallop. Tut tried to slow horse down, in vain: there was totally no breaks. Nate wasn't bucking and he didn't look wild to the audience, but Tut knew too good how he wasn't controlling his mount almost at all. The wheel was working so Tut was able to navigate their way to the obstacles, but there was no way to slow down or collect. It was Tut's luck that obstacles weren't very high, only 2ft. He was also very lucky to stay on, because Nate had his sixth gear on: first fence was crossed with really huge backup and Tut almost tipped over Nate's neck on it.
— "Damn, stop overdoing this!"
Tut mumbled and prepared for next, maybe also huge jump. And he was right, Nate jumped it like it was 4ft pricking his ears. Tut held on and finally made the whole course without going down, and with no penalties. He was at the same time very happy and very relieved — it was over.
The Tut saw something really rare: Irwin was smiling, really smiling, in fact he was almost laughing. He came to the horse and rider, stroke Nate and helped Tut down from the saddle.
— "Maybe next time we should register Nate in 3ft, what do you think?"
Yeah, Tut really agreed.
