Description
Moleskine journal commission for ~Frau-Schwarz . We built the concept together based on her idea of a goddess related to myths, legends and fairytales. Some inspiration was drawn from the famous Unicorn Tapestries, illuminated manuscripts, rococo ornamentation and the Aragorn/Arwen bridge scene (from the LoTR movies
) for the couple because people of course are the core of myths and legends. 
And this song [link] .A 13x21 cm Moleskine journal, pigment liner, graphite and white pencils and lots of hours.

Where can you get a Moleskine journal? O.o I love that paper but I haven't seen it for years! And waht about the pigment liner? Do you get a thin one?

This is simply gorgeous! I am amazed of how you managed to build this strong and well-balanced illustration with all the references and inspirations you mention. The girl, castle and bridge are great, but my favourite part is the frame with the unicorn
Oh, and the music from the link is really inspiring! I've added it to my faves in YT, it helps me to study and paint

Lovely work and I have to ask, which Moleskine journal do you use for this? The paper looks a bit brown and mine is ivory... let me know ok????

Hello and sorry for my late reply. I use the regular Kraft Moleskine journals [link] - it's just that i also use a fixative spray after i'm done, to seal the pencil so it won't come off and it's the spray that makes it slightly darker. But it's still not that much of a difference, the ones i get are much darker than ivory from the beginning.
