Happy birthday to the twins!Characters do develop on their own when neglected. And now... yeah, I've casted them into the creation stories of the Haudenosaunee, or Iroquois. Which, I am not going to scan, because it's so many pages. Xie II is Sapling, the goody-two-shoes brother and Raven II is Flint, the mischievous prankster. Of course, their personalities aren't THAT extreme in reality. Or so I hope.
I'm happy they're still kids, cuz Fleance grew up too fast for my liking. I warned him not to, but he goes and gets himself a girlfriend anyway. SILLY.

So, these characters are from a story of yours, and their Iroquois? Just a little onfused, but you did a great job on the pic. Their poses look...natural, I think would be the best term

The characters are from a story of mine (RAVEN), but they're also cast in roles of other stories (like fanfiction). In this case they played the role of Flint and Sapling in the Iroquois/Haudenosaunee Creation Story. Their actual names are Rwen and Saki.

Force of habit since I've been doing it for nine years.
I suppose it's kind of traditional but when I have something written in text it feels like a letter and I have the urge to sign at the bottom for it to feel complete. It's like a Chinese painting where I've edited my mistakes, checked over everything and feel the work is done, then I add the signature stamp of approval.

I can't get over how awesome your style is! And Xie II and Raven II are just adorable! *glomps the twins* This is probably what would have happened if my mother hadn't miscarried my sister's twin; they were conceived around the same time, but we found out later that she'd lost one of them...

I think many people had twins. A lot of conceptions don't fully develop. There are cases of chimerism too.

Chimerism... I first learned that term while watching 'House' (I forgot which season), the episode where they found 'alien' DNA in the kid's body... 
And speaking of changing their hair... I get that, too. I've been working on my own comic (you can see four of the characters here ---> [link] ).
The two girls in the top half of the page didn't look like that before, especially the blonde; her hair was shorter back then (hehe...forgive the plug...

You wouldn't know about it if you didn't look for it or something else came up in tests. Supposively its a lot more common than previously thought.
Comics are fun, and also very tiring. Do you have yours on web?

No, I don't... I don't have a scanner of my own, and all 150+ pages are hand-drawn, inked and 'toned' [using various pencils]. All the deviations I put up in my gallery, I had to have them scanned in at school (at 15 Philippine pesos each)... I'm hoping one of my relatives will get me a scanner soon, especially since my dad agreed to try to have Photoshop installed in my new laptop...

Wow, you're right. It seems like Fleance is growing faster then Zy did when he was at his age. Is his girlfriend that brown haired girl in the oodles of doodles drawing? 8D
Yay! I love the twins. =3 I love the leaf effect, it looks so cool and breezy and stuff. I like the outfits, especially Xie ll's. The reflection and water looks really nicely done too~

I wouldn't call Fleance grown up so much as a bit more mature. o.o but that would be my opinion. Anyway, if you ever do break down and scan it, I would love to see it.

He's not 'grown up' but growING fast, um, mentally. Yeah, mature, that's a better word. I might do a better copy of it later, it's just sketchy pen right now as part of my 'research portfolio' assignment for anthropology.
