Description
An Original Character from the MMORPG 'Guild Wars 2'Eventually, I'll most likely color this. But for now, it's one of my favorite pieces so far!
"Born to a couple who worked an exorbitant quantity of long nights in their joint-custody laboratory, Mimsy had the typical Asura childhood. That is to verbalize, her parents made golems and machines to keep her company while they worked on their "equipollently consequential experiments discreetly". Eventually her parents sanctioned the minuscule Prodigy to avail them, but neither genuinely took a shine to her as she was consummated only as a designation of solidarity between her parent’s labs. But it didn’t bother Mimsy, she was impeccably blissful when she was isolated and explored the word around her at her own pleasure- as long as she got to her classes on time. She first heard about the Three Colleges of the Eternal Alchemy at Splorg Metamystics, where she commenced her official edification.
It was during this time that she picked up natural skills with the crafting of weaponry- something that made more than a few Krewes watch her progress with interest. When the time came, she was accepted into her first and only cull of higher inculcation; The College of Dynamics. There, the puerile Asura spent her time building and imagining experimental weaponry. She even endeavored her hand at engendering a golem purposed rigorously for combat. It took three weeks to wash the scorch marks from the floor when it overloaded and exploded. But, as they recite at the College of Dynamics; “An experiment is only a failure if nothing is learned from it.” And so she took away a very paramount lesson… That she is ineptly incompetent at making Golems. Her Master injuctively authorized her to keep at it, but something was stirred within her. She began to feel as though Rata Sum didn’t have precisely what she needed in order to consummate her education. Not that building golems and guns that make plants explode and/or turn purple wasn't exhilarating enough; she just needed more stimulus. She packed her pack (and several types of weapons) and set off to explore the world."
