Hey, I saw this today in the Corel Painter magazine, which led me here haha. Nice stuff! The tutorial was very useful and I'll be attempting that soon on a photograph me thinks

Wow, unbealivable drawing! Im guessing the pencil test was a success, since its so good! I love the smooth shading and contrast. The negative space also makes it interesting.

The texture is perfect. You get a good contrast between the dark areas and the grey and more light areas.
I like the way you did the hair and the expression of eyes are beutiful. I think the nose's area have slightly too much strokes but it's doesnt affect the final result.
