Angus the Angler fish and her two Husbands- Horace and Clarence. 8D
I always wanted to do an angler fish anthro and I’ve been hoping between two designs, a sort of slightly more human mermaid form, and a more angler fish but on two legs human form. I like this design, going a bit Ursula in her face. But I feel that she’s lost some of her angler fish features which make them so unworldly (you can see it in my original sketches in my scraps).
Angus is a hairy angler fish and she has two husbands attached to her- Horace her first Husband on her shoulder and Clarence her newer husband on her hip. I love the idea that they can still sort of ‘talk’ dispute being attached by the mouth like real male angler fish. Angus is not unlike Ursula the Disney character. Horace is more of a faithful old fashion gent, whilst Clarence is more a Casanova but lacks the attention to detail. A whole family swimming along.

I'm glad to see the anthro angler fish character, the form of the spines and the tail is good and this form is good for swim in the water. on her face, I think this form looks good. the human have the lip but many other mammals don't have lip, on the fish species, their mouth looks have the lip, and I've seen the anthro fishes have lip like mouth, so I think this form is one of the way to express the anthro fishes.
on the form of the legs, I've played the computer game "dungeon crawl stone soup" and the specie "merfolk" is exist, they are just the mermaid like but when they come to the land, the mermaid form turn into human form, I just recall this way and it may happen in the fantasy world.
and I'm amazed the size of husbands is different, but I'm human dwell in earth and I don't know other anthro character's cultures. and I think on the other planets, the different sized family is the normal scene.

Thanks! Angler fish in real life have sexual dimorphism with regard to size in this way! The males are very small and 'attach' themselves to females and slowly become a part of them! Nature is so wonderful and strange !
