Description
This guy is called 'Loom'.A wormy creature whose main feature is its face; for it is feature less! It’s simply a smooth end with bioluminescent bacteria under the skin. This bioluminescence causes the allusion of eyes to deceive attackers and prey from its real way of sensing though its sink and primarily through its fleshy antenna. The bioluminescence it uses also has a unique property of hypnotising prey. Often the colours form patterns and ripples that draw the prey into a trance causing something similar to ‘deer in the headlights’ syndrome. But rather than merely weakening its prey, it is suggested that it can even hypnotise it’s victims to doing small tasks under its power. Not surprising since it comes across as surprisingly intelligent and curious. It’s even been recorded making simple face and emotion symbols on its ‘face’ to convey its emotion to other species, mainly humans.
While its claws are small they re fairly sharp and can give a nasty scratch. But its main weapons are its own body which is can contort to constrict its prey and its mouth which can be opened incredibly wide and feature seemly endless rows of fangs.
Loom is a creature seemingly evolved from the deep sea, its body and DNA similar to eels. It also has a ability to make its skin darker or more transparent o let light through much like squid cells can. However it has evolved to live both on land and in the sea, surviving immense pressures.

That is one of the best creature concepts I've seen in a long time!
