So I had someone wanting to see how I created the fake woundsI have no experience with SFX, but it was fun to do
So here is a tutorial on how to make real looking wounds without any prior knowledge on the subject.
If you have any questions about it just ask me in a comment and I'll try to answer as best as I can.

I think glue might stick too much to the skin, and I dont think it would give a very realistic look. But I've never tried, so maybe

Oh. Well then I'd really just suggest looking at images of wounds when painting, and look for stock images for photomanipulation

i added glitter because, my topic is shine in photography and this was part of a more conceptual idea, based on the quote of being born with glitter in your veins, so they're sparkly from inside and shine from the inside
the deep wound part didnt work out well for me but nvm, i still used it xD
