by no means the final word on the subject, this is a digital sketch of sorts (from adobe illustrator) to flesh out a thought. many trek fans were frustrated with the ship design chosen for the enterprise series, given the daedalus-design history. this represents a direction of tho't--perhaps a point that could've informed a better, more 'historically' consistent design theory.Related content

While I would have preferred the NX-01 being the ringship design, I have to admit that this is FAR better than what we got
First Contact and Enterprise should just be relegated as the pre-history of the JJ Abrams timeline and leave the Roddenberry universe alone
