Description
Basilisks were said to be huge lizards whose glance would kill any living being that looked in their eyes. In the Middle Age, this fabulous animal was imagined as a four-legged rooster with big spiny wings and a serpent tail which could end either in a barb or in other rooster head.Inspired by Jorge Luis Borges' "The Book of Imaginary Beings"; marker pen drawing, 2003.
