This is cute, but I'd add a little shade or highlight to the eyes. They look flat in comparison to the shading and painterly way you've rendered out the body. And with that technique, you can really make them pop. The face is the first thing anyone pays attention to in a drawing, so you really want to milk any feature you can since it's the focus point.

since your going to do more pokemon why not do a pokemon growing up timeline? everyday you post a pic of your fav pokemon growing up for e.g first day, baby / egg and maybe the lets say 16th day their a 2nd grader or a toddler this is definitely like a day 2 pokemon design :3
