I too am a mature Christian. I don't force people to believe what I believe in. Its their choice and I respect that. As my mom says, just because someone tou know supports something you don't like doesn't mean you can't like the person. There's a difference between liking a person and liking a person's lifestyle.

I also remember, I met this idiot who was all like "OH U HAVE TO FOLLOW ALL THE TENANTS TO BE A GOOD CHRISTIAN! EXAMPLE, YOU CAN'T SUPPORT GAY RIGHTS! IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW ALL THE TENANTS, YOU'RE DOOMED TO WHATEVER HELL IS IN YOUR RELIGION!", so he's basically saying I'm going to hell for supporting gay rights!

I couldn't agree with this more! I'm a Christian myself, and I get irritated when those overly religious types of Christians go around giving good and sane Christians a bad name. Though that's not to say Atheists who see Christians as scum have a right to judge us based on a few bad ones, but still. If you are a Christian please be a mature one. And that goes to Atheists too. After all, the Bible says to love everyone and "Treat people the way you want to be treated".
