Sorry for the wait everyone! I first started this page in August, but then life got crazy and I was never able to find time to work on it until this past week. I hope the wait was worth it!
I’ve been trying to figure out how to make it clear whether a text box was meant for narration or setting, and I decided on this: black text boxes with white text will be used for setting (time, location, etc.), and white text boxes with black text will be used for narration that is not part of a character’s inner dialogue (EX: “the morning patrols have already been sent out, so there aren’t many cats in the camp” VS “where did everyone go?”). My hope is that this will make it easier to differentiate between the two—I’ve already adjusted the previous pages to match this change.

Thank you!! Don’t worry, this comic isn’t going anywhere! I’ve just been spending a lot of time reworking plot details, character designs, page layout ideas, etc. I have at around 36 chapters roughly planned out, and I’ve been working on finalizing smaller details before moving forward with new pages! I can’t say for sure when the next page of EOTS will be, but I am planning on making a smaller mini-series that takes place in the same world with the same characters before the events of EOTS (a prequel, if you will) so I can get a better hang on layout styles and other stuff before I move on to the large project that is Eye of the Storm.

wow! i can tell you've improved a lot during that time; your art actually looks slightly different.
i'm also quite curious as to when "the others" she was supposed to meet at the beach will show up.
anyway! lovely page! definitely worth the wait! i especially love Lucia's expression in the 5th and 8th panels.

Thank you!! “The others” are actually going to show up on the next page! I also use Procreate on my iPad—I don’t know if there is a desktop version, but I highly recommend Procreate for any iPad users!
