Sunstrike is the ThunderClan deputy. He is fiercely loyal to his clan. His daughter, Emberpaw, shares his love for ThunderClan. Sunstrike greatly respects Rockstar and his leadership, and the two are good friends. He upholds the warrior code to the letter, but he is not disgusted by the presence of kittypets in the nearby Twolegplace. He is slow to warm up to new faces, but he does his best to be involved in Clan life outside of organizing patrols. He enjoys leading apprentice group training sessions. He is cool and collected in most situations, but it is not unheard of for him to occasionally snap at other cats during Gatherings when defending the name of his Clan or his Clanmates. He is friendly but stern with the many apprentices in ThunderClan. He is highly respectful of the Clan elders, and can be seen conversing with them on a regular basis, often looking for advice.
