Lilly of the Valley...SpringLilly of the valley are one of my favorite flower they smell soo good and i'am soo ready for a Hot Summer.
~Watercolor paper & watercolor paint on 11x15 paper.
~Six hours of work pianting and two hours drawing her.

The textures, flowers and her hair are so beautiful, but somehow I don't like the face, for it is so sharp and skinny...But besides that I like it!

Beautiful image! The colours are great, the gold, green, white and blue compliment each other so well and also give a spring, light airy feel to the piece. The detail on the bodice is great, it really gives a piece a whole extra dimension when someone takes the time to put in lots of little extra details. The flowers in her hair are great, they look really delicate

The recurring 'spot' shapes, with the 'freckle/spots' and the lilies, really ties the thing together. And the colors of her dress complement her hair complement the background- very nice choices!
You've got such a soft, appealing style that still manages to catch the eye. ...One of these days I'll have to try and talk you into putting together a makeup design. I'd love to see one of your schemas in a makeup medium. ^_~

This is one of my favorites pieces that you've done. What a wonderful artist you are! In my garden the lily of the Valley flowers are just begining to peek above green of leaf, like tiny white pearls of promise. This wonderful artwork reflects my feeling about these fragrant spring flowers.
