Here is another i been working on for a while she is on 12x18 watercolor paper painted with watercolors.I used some of my favorit colors.It's called 'What is she wishing for'
I forgot to say: She is wearing a dandelion bodice,a morning glory flower for a skirt, and foxgloves sleaves.
And daisies are my Sister's favorite flower.

She reminds me of a fairytale I read when I was little. There's this girl who's home and sick and one night she opens her window out to the garden and goes back to sleep. She wakes up when she hears someone sobbing. And on her windowsill sits a little fae who is very sad.
The girl of course asks what's the matter and the fae tells her that there's this big ball tonight, and the prince of the fae will be there looking for a bride. She has fallen in love but has nothing to wear. The girl sits quietly and suddenly the fae sees something in the room and leaps at it. A new silken napkin that the girl got from her mother. The faegirl begs to have it because her kind have never seen anything like it. And she gives it to her.
The story of course ends very happily. The prince never took his eyes off her and they got married.
This picture has a feel of longing. Maybe she's missing her prince?
