Description
Hello, hello, what is this?Everyone, say hello to Aurora, my newest OC. I believe that makes 6. I must make up my mind. But then again, every single character somebody makes (even extras) counts as an OC so who cares?
Aurora is a squirrel, though she is often mistaken for a Least Weasel by her solitaryness and the way her hood covers her head. But she can't help it, y'see.
She's deaf. She has no ears.
And as for the Roo, well, you'll soon see. But he can't talk, so the only way he can communicate is through a sign language that Aurora teaches him.

That would be an unusual meeting, indeed!
Australia hasn't even been discovered by Redwallers...

Yup.
The Roo found his own way here, being captured by slavers and escaping here, it's a mess.

They must have been well-travelled slavers, discovering Australia...

Cool. Hm, I'm not too sure about adding a non-canon species to the Redwall-verse... but if you never plan on actually writing any fanfics with it... meh.

Me either, he's there for a story, and someone took a picture. I just need to get the IOU series wrapped up first.

BTW, not a fanfic story, more like a moral one.
"Two met. One could not speak, one could not hear. One taught the other to talk, and in return, was taught to listen."
Its going to be a graphic novel setting, with all of it in Pantomime. Not a word is spoken.

wow your roo is quite good, alot of people would probably use a ferret shape to base his body off of, but yours is very original in that sense.

Helps to be an aussie.
Ferrets look like Roos? Huh. The closest thing that I would say looks like a roo is a rabbit standing upright, and even then you need a tail and snout.

do roos ever wander into your backyard?

I wish. I mostly wander into their's actually. Its fun to go up to wild animals and sit among them. Though be sure to avoid the meat eaters, they can be a bit wily.

and the roos aren't scared off if you sit among them? I want to go to Australia now .
Watch out for the snakes too lol

Well, if you sit still they approach you and sniff you.
And spiders.
Australia has the most amount of creatures that can kill you in under an hour.

Lol, yea I read that somewhere, you guys have everything from box jellyfish to redbacks to great white sharks to blue ringed octopuses.
Still looks like a amazing country to be in though.
