Dear Mr. Marshall Lee,
I'm glad you have an opinion of who belongs with who in your universe; even if it is a bit creepy. However, that doesn't mean you have to scream your opinion at other people. And just because it's your opinion, doesn't make it everyone's opinion. So please stop acting like it is, you punk.
This picture isn't even explicit, Marshall. Jake is nowhere NEAR Cake's lips. How do you know Jake and Cake are a couple from this picture? Jake is simply giving Cake a gentlemen's gesture. But you wouldn't know anything about that, because you're a punk vampire.
Where is your mother? Does she know you like to leave rude comments telling what others to think and do on this website?? Do I need to call her for you? How's that for a question?

That reply actually was very rude. The person wasn't screaming out their opinion, but stating it. The picture looks like cakexjake, and Mr.Marshall might have been with cakexmono and ladyxjake. And the person might have commented on that because the picture suggest the relationship. The picture does suggest, (NOT SCREAM OUT) but suggest cakexjake. Jake could still like lady and cake could still like lord mono. It could just be politely said that the picture is not jakexcake. But it was like you were hacking at their neck about it. I mean they could have said it in a MUCH MORE blatantly and obnoxiously expressed their opinion, unlike they did above. It's okay to be fan of either couple whichever, no need to get angry about it.

I wasn't angry. Annoyed, yes. But I wasn't angry. They're commenting with a roleplay account. So I decided to make it seem like I was responding to the character. That aside, they should have read the comments before commenting. As I have already politely stated in other comments, this wasn't ment to be strictly JakexCake...
And I don't know about you, but leaving nothing in a comment other than "NO! LORDxCAKE LADYxJAKE" with an angry smiley face is pretty obnoxious to me. Nothing on the art. Nothing on why they think that way. Nothing saying "I really really don't like the pairing, this is why. What are your thoughts? Why did you draw this?". Just their opinion and nothing else. I don't care who ships what either. To be honest, I hardly watch the show for the pairings. I watch it for character development, and the animation. I just draw pairings because I can.
So while I can see your point, I hardly think it justifies their actions. And that's my opinion. So I have a right to express my annoyance, just as much as they have the right to express how much they hate this pairing. Just like you have the right to defend them. But to be honest, I really don't see why you're defending them... because Marshall Lee is in their icon? I like Marshall Lee as much as the next fangirl, but that's no excuse for arrogance. Just saying...
Besides... What do you want me to do, other than respond with a bit of annoyance? Say sorry? Sorry that I came up with a stupid picture that took me less than five minutes to produce? Sorry that I doodled a silly little idea in my head? Sorry that I wanted to share it with the Adventure Time fandom? What was I supposed to say to that comment? SERIOUSLY. I spent four days trying to come up with a way to say something back to them. While I guess I COULD have come out with something NICERRR, I didn't. Because I found THEIR comment to be VERY RUDE. Do you think I honestly sit at my computer and go; "Gee, how can I be an asshole on the internet today?" I'm not like that at all. If they weren't trying to be rude, they would have said so.
... But you know, I will say sorry to you. I'm being serious here. I am so sorry that I am wasting your time and my time with stupid comments on DA. I truly am! I hate to think that this reply will reach your message inbox. And I'm sorry that I replied to you with a hint of venom. As you're not the one making an obnoxious comment about how you like a few pairings, off of a kids cartoon, and how those pairings are your OTP and no one can ever come between them. Ever.
So I'm honestly sorry you had to read my stupid 2AM, lack of sleep-induced, reply about how I was really annoyed at some stupid roleplayer for making some stupid comments on my stupid, half-assed, shitty art (I really do think this is the lowest piece of art I have ever pulled out of my ass. And I truly am sorry you had to look at it). Sorry again you had to read this stupid reply. Because it probably won't help the situation at all. In fact, I'll probably get more replies from other commenters about it later on. And I feel sorry for them too. Because they had to read this far. Seriously... I'm not being sarcastic here in any way. This is really stupid.

It's all right!! Don't be sorry. This doesn't need to be taken too far. I don't know if that person HATES the pairing, even if the comment suggests that they do. But it wasn't a huge rant in all capital letters and exclamation points, which might have shown that, but it did not. It was small and slightly playful. But I do see now, that Mr. M's comment was a rude, and it could have been put better. Someone at first glance could see it as CxJ, (as I did) and didn't read the following comments, but still shouldn't state it as they did. It was rude and you need to forget about it, there are people who are like that everywhere.
And I'm not defending them because of their icon! I just thought that the reply didn't have to be so break-neck either. Just calmly type what you were thinking. Also don't be so hard on yourself about the picture. It was a great drawing that I'm glad you made and a lot of people are glad you made too.
