I don't even care if their pokemon aren't in Hisui I'm done drawing this one

If they were dropped through the rift like the MC is, they'd probably be really freaked out when they saw Laventon, since he's, y'know, a human. Even after the shapes learn about this world, I highly doubt Kamado would welcome them the same way he welcomed a human, which is why none of them are in the Galaxy Expedition Team.

Either way, they adapt to their new world while they're in it, helping with the Frenzied Pokemon and eventually uncovering Volo's plan. They gang up on him, and even though Giratina is strong, it isn't enough against all of them.

Afterwards, Arceus comes to send them home, since the Shapes' power and presence in its world is wrong, but since their world doesn't have any of the tools needed to sustain Pokemon, the shapes are forced to say goodbye to their new friends before they come back home.

If someone wants to make a fanfic of that please do I will read it and smile.
