Well, I was kinda... Wait, really? O_o Feckin' hell... Well, anyway, you know for a long time I've been teasing about the whole 'ooh, I might want x, I might want y' thing for a while? Well, one of the things I was considering was asking if you'd be willing to do two refs sheets for my OCs, one for Maddie/Mimic, and one for Claire. I've been a little small-c conservative about my money lately, but I'm doing okay for the moment, so I'm comfortable enough asking at this moment. It's just Maddie's one it more complicated; both would involve a human and pony counterpart, but Maddie has the problem of also being part human, part horse at one point.

Well, in terms of detail, I'm a predictable man through habit. So, I would be quite happy with it just being coloured sketches as normal, really. But, chances are, if you offer it, there's bound to be someone out there interested in taking you up on the offer. There's always people who want to show off their OCs to the world in a more fancy way than the Pony Creator.

Coloured sketches would definitely be the easiest/fastest choice, though of course, they'll be a little more cleaned up than usual to keep the reference clear :3 I'll give pricing a go now:
In my sketching style, I'd estimate a price at about Β£13 (that would include the 3 quarter view of the pony, cutie mark if applicable, front view of the human + clothing, colour schemes, and annotation)
As for Mimic, I would probably say Β£19, because of the mid-transformation anatomy reference (censored, unless of course you want the clothing, but I'd imagine you'd either wanna see how the legs connect or show both versions)

Addendum: I just realised there's a slight issue with the Mahdia thing, which means I may need to pay you a little extra for it if we go through with it, but... There's two versions of Pony Mimic, and I don't know how relevant it is to mention. There's Mahdia, of course, but there's also the original Mimic the unicorn in my version of G4, and they are differently designed enough to warrant mention.
Original Mimic is a lot closer to the canonical Mimic of G3. She's the child of a crystal pony and a unicorn. In reflection of this, she has the crystal eye specs of the crystal ponies, and the dull fur they have when they're not in a crystal form, even when she herself isn't influenced by Sombra, and of course, she is a unicorn. She's shorter than Mahdia's version of her, being about regular pony sized; she has a shorter mane which isn't tied up, and a normal sized tail. She does, also, have a cutie mark, which is the red and yellow parrot I may have shown you in some refs. Mahdia will reflect this later when she has a mark of her own: it's the same parrot, except it's sitting inside a crescent moon, kinda like the Dreamworks logo (but this is a spoiler, so I'm unsure about whether or not to include it in theΒ ref). And, of course, she has the golden shoes.
Sorry for the late notice on this. I'd only realised my mistake when I was going to bed last night (I'd been very busy with work, so I was a bit of a zombie). I think I get my first payslip on the 29th, so if we do need to talk extra money for the two variants, if she is included in this list, that's absolutely fine.Β

Hmmm, so that would be about Β£32 all in all? It's not an unfair price, but I'm a little hesitant. I mean, I get paid in two weeks, and I do have a nest egg at the moment. It's a bit of a fallacy though, since I've probably given you far more than Β£32 over the course of all the commissions I've ever done, except it's all at once.Β As I said, it's not an unfair price. I suppose anywhere where it can be simplified will be appreciated though.
As to details. Yeah, I'd like censored, and Mahdia isn't the kind of woman to go about in her underwear at the best of times. The way I see it, human form would just be some jeans, t-shirt and trainers, half-half would be t-shirt, them magic horseshoes and a short skirt, nothing skimpy though, she's not the kind of person who'd be keen on being indecently dressed. And pony is just pony.
Honestly, the only reason I'd have it uncensored or nude is to see the exact point where her human body ends, and her anthro-pony body begins. I won't lie, I'm kinda curious about how that would look, but at the same time, I'm conflicted about giving the go-ahead on it.

Hmm, it probably would be something like that, I guess, unless it's just halfway up a leg or something...although you'd have to consider bone and pelvic setups would be completely different, and so certain movements would become quite difficult as a result. Best hope she's used to eastern bathroom designs...

Nah, Maddie also has a tail in the half-and-half. It's hidden by the long skirt in the pic Acry did, but I did get ObsidianDragoness to do a pic at the same time (and promptly forgot I'd asked her to do), and it's quite easily seen when Maddie has a short skirt on:
As for Eastern bathroom designs... Well... Her family is Pakistani, but she's British, born and raised in Derby. It'll quite possibly be a problem, if for no other reason than that tail getting in the way.
...Funnily enough, I've not made much mention as to how she uses the bathroom in her story yet... I can't say I was planning on it for that very reason.

Oh, right. Well, it probably will be there, then...heck, it makes me think of the Little Mermaid designs that Disney used, with that rounded bit where the scales meet skin. I suppose it'd be something like that.

Actually, that could make for an interesting scene; imagine if she's sitting up unable to sleep or something, and she actually examines the join...is there a clean cut of sorts, where it just suddenly changes from fur to skin, or does it fade from one to the other, creating a sort of mishmash in the middle that's a mixture of both? Actually, given the nature of the spell, it's probably going to be the former one...ah well.
Well, you could still kinda reference it; just have her raging by the time she gets to the school because she wants to get this whole thing reversed or completed and thus not have to deal with complicated clothing, difficulty in moving, and absolute nightmares in the bathroom...

That's completely understandable man :3 And maybe we could do both a clothed and nude (censored where necessary) version, but the nude one would not be posted publicly, so then you can still have your show of how the body connects to the legs ^^
