Description
MOTÖRHEAD is not my favourite band although I own and like some of their albums. But their "Snaggletooth" (created by great artist Joe Petagno) was always my favourite band mascott (besides IRON MAIDEN's Eddie) since I've seen it for the first time when I was a child in the eighties.
So I tried to make a good fictional Motörhead coverart just for fun (and to retire from my last commissions).
Inspiration for the scenery came from the great cover of the debut album of german thrashers PARADOX from 1987 ("Product Of Imagination") - done also by Joe Petagno.

I painted this with a wacom tablet in Painter in four sessions (the last three evenings and maybe two additional hours just a few moments ago). Maybe 15 hours of work from start to finish.

Edit:
I've enhanced the image to the right, bottom and upper part and changed a lot of things. I think it's much better now. (total working time now about 20 hours in total)

Edit2: I've uploaded the image with my homepage in it, sorry for that, but I have noticed that someone has uploaded one of my paintings on facebook and pretended that he has painted it. So, I'm afraid, I'll have to do this with all my paintings in future...
